Santana has done just about everything imaginable! He has done hunters, jumpers, 4-H, western riding, western pleasure, barrel racing, poles, other speed events, trail classes, trail rides, first flight fox hunting, Equitation classes, Dressage, and Recognized eventing. Santana is the perfect gentleman, he loves his little kids and can be a packer for just about anything, but can also be fancy enough to win at just about any level! He is a solid 2nd level dressage horse and is schooling 3rd level movements, he has successfully competed through Novice level eventing. Honestly, this guy could easily go to pony finals this upcoming season and win! He is a flashy fancy pony who will do anything. He qualified for and took his little girl to the AEC’s for Beginner Novice the last two years and is already qualified for 2021. He is super super competitive. Santana is currently schooling Novice and Training level obstacles and competing Novice level at local shows and schooling outings. Santana only transitioned to english and jumping 3 years ago when his little girl decided it was time to jump, so he has “young” legs and currently requires ZERO maintenance. He is a natural jumper and is honest and brave.

Santana has taken his current kid from walk/trot in the round pen to finishing the 2020 eventing season as the highest placing junior rider in BN in the Nation. He is amazing and will do it all, from walk/trot to winning at any shows at any level.

Santana is also the BEST backyard pony ever! Santana rides double, or even triple, and is up for anything, from unicorn horns, to paint, to dress up. Santana is the trusty pony who will take care of your kid. He is mostly ridden around the yard bareback with a halter and lead rope or encouraged to do tricks, such as riding and jumping bridle/tackless, he also has impeccable ground manners and will follow his child around for hours. At horse shows, Santana shares his stall with his kid’s hammock which is always hung up in the stall, you can usually find San and his kid napping together in between rides.

Santana, will do anything and everything in groups or alone. He is simply a joy to have around and the most trustworthy pony ever. I mean, he is a legitimate Unicorn.

Santana is best suited to staying in the lower levels of eventing (Novice and under) as that is where he is most brave and comfortable. He LOVES to teach little kids and bring them up through the levels. We also think he would be amazing as a hunter, as that is what he did prior to eventing, Santana was always in the ribbons if not the winner in his hunter days, but as they never did rated shows, he is still eligible green. In dressage- the sky's the limit! This pony can really MOVE when he wants to and is very talented - he has excellent lateral movement and tempo- he could easily take a kid to the upper levels of dressage!

Santana stands for the farrier, vet, braiding, clipping, he loads, stands tied, etc etc. I mean he does it all.

We would love to keep him, but his little girl is ready to move up and doesn’t want to push him past Novice- so it is time for the San-man to teach a new little kiddo the ways of the Unicorn.

Finding Santana a job is our priority, we don't want him to sit idle in a field while his kid focuses on her new pony.
